Detroiters who watch TV using an antenna will need to rescan their televisions to continue scheduled programming Wednesday, according to an advisory issued by the National Association of Broadcasters.
Rescanning your television takes a few minutes and is free, simply select scan or autotune from the television or converter box control menu to begin. From there, the TV will do the rest.

The rescan has been ordered by the Federal Communications Commission as nearly 1,000 stations change frequencies to offer more channels for wireless broadband services, according to the advisory.
